Version 2.7.2 of the Tiger Technology Intelligent Storage Workflow Engine for the Tiger Series is now available.

This latest version includes new capabilities and numerous improvements and fixes both for shared storage management and Tiger Clients on all supported platforms.

New in Tiger Series 2.7.2:

  • New kernels supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS Linux 6.x
  • Improved performance on Mac OS X clients
  • Improved playback with Autodesk Flame on Linux clients
  • Stability fixes

Users of Tiger Store, Tiger Box, Tiger Box1, Tiger Serve, and Tiger Serve1 are encouraged to operate the latest version for improved stability and performance.

This release is for Tiger Sharing Engine only, and it is compatible with the current installed versions of projectStore and projectStore PRO. A soon-to-be-available Project Series release will include all branding and functionality as described on the Tiger web site.

All Tiger users with valid Tiger Maintenance are eligible to upgrade, and version releases are a great reason to contact your customers and renew their Tiger Maintenance coverage.

Upgrade Procedure
Tiger Store users under Maintenance can upgrade by logging in to the Tiger licensing server and following the instructions found there.

Tiger Series appliance (e.g Tiger Box, Tiger Serve) users under Maintenance can upgrade by contacting Tiger Support at to schedule an appointment at a suitable time.
