You can now configure Tiger Bridge to retrieve offline files only from instant-retrieval storage classes. With the new version, by default archived data cannot be rehydrated/retrieved automatically to ensure better control over cloud storage related costs.
Instant Retrieval Archives as Cool Storage
Map archive tiers that support instant retrieval as cool storage instead of archival. This gives you fine-grained control over your tiering strategy - replicate to instant-retrieval archives first, then move data to deep archive when conditions are met.
Streamlined Workflows
New conveniences make daily operations smoother: customize which shell extension commands appear in Windows Explorer, and open source locations directly from the Configuration interface with a single click.
